On behalf of the Hall Committee we would like to thank all those members of the local community who have assisted in any way, with practical help and moral support.
We have been overwhelmed by the generous donations of more than 50 organisations and individuals. In the entrance foyer of the Hall we have a Board acknowledging donors and we encourage you to take a look at this when you visit the Hall.
Although the Hall was insured we would not have the amazing building we have today without the help of a few major donations. We are very grateful for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund’s gift of $834,000. This gift links us to the many thousands of individuals, organisations and businesses who donated money to assist in the wake of Black Saturday.
